Instant Pot Pumpkin Puree

This homemade pumpkin puree recipe is extremely easy to make in the instant pot or any electric pressure cooker, and the best part is that it is freezer friendly.

Simple Ingredients

-fresh pumpkin -water

STEP 1. Make sure the pumpkin fits in the inner pot.

STEP 2. place the trivet. Add water, and place the pumpkin inside the pot.

STEP 4. When the cooking cycle has finished, do a Quick Release of the pressure.

STEP 3 Pressure cook for 17 minutes.

STEP 5. Transfer the pumpkin to a cutting board and wait until it is cool enough to handle.

STEP 6. Peel off the skin and scoop out the seeds.

STEP 7. Place the pumpkin flesh in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
