You only need three ingredients to make a batch for 3-4 servings of this wonderful broccoli recipe.
Broccoli: This recipe requires the broccoli florets, but you can use the stems as well. If you use the stems, keep in mind they won’t be crispy as the florets.
Avocado or Olive Oil: To cook in the air fryer, you don’t need to use a lot of oil; a tablespoon is enough to make the florets crispy.
Nutritional yeast or Seasonings: Nutritional yeast is what I used to make this air fryer recipe. You can use parmesan cheese or garlic powder to give a different taste or use your favorite seasoning as you wish.
How to make Air Fryer Broccoli Bites with nutritional yeast

In a large bowl, whisk together the oil and nutritional yeast until well combined, season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the broccoli and toss until well covered.
Arrange in the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 350ºF and cook for 8-10 minutes or until stems are tender, shaking the basket or stirring the broccoli halfway through.
Grate zest from the lemon all over broccoli and serve.

When mixing the broccoli with the mixture, stick the yeast mixture into the broccoli florets, so it doesn’t drop right off the broccoli while it’s cooking. Some will fall off the broccoli, but you still will keep enough for flavor.
You don’t need to preheat the air fryer to make this recipe, but if your air fryer is required to preheat before cooking, then you need to preheat.
Can you make air fryer broccoli in advance?
Yes! You can make air fryer broccoli in advance or meal prep the broccoli.
Before cooking. Cut the broccoli into florets and store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
After cooking. Let the broccoli cool down and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

- 1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon (zest only)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the oil and nutritional yeast until well combined, season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the broccoli and toss until well covered
