Notes: If you have the instant pot air fryer lid, the cooking time is the same. Make sure your pressure cooker is not plugged into the socket while using the air fryer lid.

If your plantains are very ripe like mine, you need to cut them 1 inch thick but if they are not very ripe but yellow them ½ inch thick slices.
When are plantains ready to air fry?
It is better to air fry yellow plantain when their skin looks dull yellow with patches of black or when they look completely black. Follow this as an indication of when plantain is at peak ripeness. It will help make the plantain brown quickly when cooking since all the sugar coaxes to the surface.
Remember that the sugar in plantain is from the exchange of all its starch into natural sugar.

Yes, you can freeze air fryer fried plantain! And it is effortless to do.
Let the air fried plantains come to room temperature.
Please place them in a baking sheet, freeze them until solid hard.
Place the frozen air fryer plantains in a freezer bag, squeeze as much air as you can, and store them flat for up to 3 months; otherwise, they will have an oily taste that is not pretty good, so make sure to eat them before.
