What ingredients for instant pot cranberry sauce
Cranberries: For this recipe, you need a 12 oz package of fresh cranberries. You can use frozen if you’d like. If this is the case, you don’t need to thaw the cranberries before placing them in the Instant Pot. But, Please Do Not use dried cranberries.
Monk fruit sweetener: You can replace this with powdered erythritol if you want to store it longer than a day. You can also use maple syrup or coconut sugar for a paleo diet.
Orange Juice: A freshly juiced naval orange you need to make this recipe. For keto dieters, swap the orange juice for water and add an extra teaspoon of orange zest. Cranberry Sauce with fresh orange juice is always the most delicious way to go!
Orange Zest: Make sure to zest the orange with the smallest setting on a cheese grater before juicing the orange
How To make instant pot cranberry sauce
This cranberry sauce instant pot recipe is perfect if you are looking for low sugar, paleo, or gluten-free cranberry sauce. If you have not made a cranberry sauce before, you won’t look back to the canned stuff.
STEP 1. Add the cranberry, apple cider, orange zest, orange juice, maple syrup, coconut sugar, and cinnamon in the inner pot.
STEP 2. Place the lid on the pot and lock it in place. Turn the steam release knob to the Sealing position (or don’t press the release knob in the newest model). Select manual/ pressure cook and set the time to 4 minutes of high pressure. The pot will take a few minutes to build up the pressure before the timer starts.
STEP 3. When the cooking cycle has finished, let the pot nat
STEP 4. With a wooden spoon, mash cranberry mixture until desired consistency is reached; stir in vanilla, add more sweetener if needed—transfer cranberry sauce to a serving dish or an airtight container.
RECIPE Tips:
- For instant pot paleo cranberry sauce, if you don’t want to use the monk fruit sweetener or powdered erythritol, feel free to swap it with something like coconut sugar, maple syrup, or stevia.
- To store it longer than a day and avoid crystallization, use powdered erythritol instead of monk fruit sweetener.
- To store it in the refrigerator, wait for it to come to room temperature before putting it in the fridge. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 day if using monk fruit sweetener. And if using powdered erythritol for up to weeks and in the freezer for up to 5 weeks.

Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz.) bag of fresh cranberries, rinsed
- ¾ cup of water
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- ¼ cup of orange juice
- 1 cup monk fruit sweetener or powdered erythritol
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add the cranberry, water, orange zest, orange juice, monk fruit sweetener and cinnamon in the inner pot.
- Place the lid on the pot and lock it in place. Turn the steam release knob to the Sealing position (or don’t press the release knob in the newest model). Press manual/ pressure cook and set the time to 4 minutes of high pressure. The pot will take a few minutes to build up the pressure before the timer starts.
- When the cooking cycle has finished, let the pot sit undisturbed for 10 minutes. Then do a Quick Release of the pressure by turning the knob towards the Venting position (or pressing the release button). When the metal pin in the lid drops down, you can open it facing away from you.
- With a wooden spoon, mash cranberry mixture until desired consistency is reached; stir in vanilla, add more sweetener if needed—transfer cranberry sauce to a serving dish or an airtight container.
